About Me

My name is Mimi and I am a graphic design student at Portland State University in the awesome city of Portland. Last term (Winter 2011) I was so stressed, I got sick multiple times and my work really took a hit. 

For Christmas I got a present from my friend Hunson, a giant jar of Nutella. I love Nutella but this posed  a problem, I couldn’t finish it by myself. So I looked online for any recipes using Nutella and found a cookie recipe. I will state for the record that I am not a good baker. I always believed that I had this cookie curse placed on me when I was a kid. I could never make edible, pretty cookies. But I wanted to try this recipe, and so I did. 

They turned out amazing!

After that weekend I started baking every weekend, for fun, for friends, for family it just started to happen. 

So here I am today baking something every weekend for my own sanity. Showing you the recipes, the results and sharing the experience.
